Resumen

Se presenta el caso de un masculino de 52 años con antecedente de síndrome de inmunodeficiencia adquirida que acude con historia de una semana de evolución de tos seca y disnea progresiva de moderados esfuerzos asociada a astenia, adinamia y fiebre no cuantificada. Se le realiza tomografía de tórax de alta resolución donde se visualiza patrón en vidrio despulido de distribución parahiliar en ambos campos pulmonares y múltiples zonas de consolidación en parches, de distribución peribroncovascular, sugestivos de neumonía organizada secundaria.

 

 


Abstract

We present the case of a 52-year-old male with a history of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome who with a seven day history of dry cough and progressive dyspnea on moderate exertion associated with asthenia, adynamia and unquantified fever. A high-resolution chest tomography was performed showing a ground-glass pattern of parahilar distribution in both lung fields and multiple areas of consolidation in patches, of peribronchovascular distribution, suggestive of secondary organized pneumonia.
