Abstract

This is a male newborn, the third product of a 27-year-old mother, G3P2C0A0, with # 5 prenatal controls, initiated at the fifth month of gestation, O Rh positive typing, non-reactor VDRL and HIV negative, who is born vaginally at the 40 weeks' gestation, without complications in a first level hospital. On physical examination, he presented a dimple at the lumbar level above the gluteal fold, for which he was referred to complete studies and decide on management.
