Abstract

The development of the uterus is a complex process conducted during embryogenesis, in which developmental abnorma-lities may occur. Abnormalities include affections to associated structures such as the fallopian tubes and vagina. When a lack of fusion of the pair of Müllerian ducts occurs, the result is the formation of uterine horns that can develop into ute-rine duplicity. Here we present a case report of a didelphic uterus.
